In Home Sales Project Manager

About the role

The In Home Sales Project Manager oversees the entire sales process for emergency restoration projects, from the initial free home inspection to closing the job and coordinating service delivery. This role combines consultative selling, technical scope creation, and ongoing customer communication to ensure a high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to emergency water, mold, or fire damage calls, perform risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct free home inspections, build trust, sell services, and create detailed scopes using Xactimate and moisture‑mapping data.
• Coordinate dispatch of technicians, act as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and adjusters, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Generate and analyze sales reports, contribute to marketing initiatives, and maintain accurate records in project‑management software.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience with at least 1 year in restoration or a closely related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to listen empathetically, handle rejection, and adapt communication to diverse customers.
• Self‑starter who can work autonomously, manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment, and travel within the service territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xactimate for scope creation and pricing.
• Experience using project‑management software for documentation and tracking.
• Solid data‑entry and basic mathematical skills.
• Comfort with mobile smartphone devices for on‑the‑go reporting.
