Immigration Paralegal (Bilingual Spanish/English)

About the role

Peek Law Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Immigration Paralegal to support its removal defense attorneys remotely. The role focuses on preparing and managing high‑volume deportation and asylum cases while providing compassionate service to immigrant clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, prepare, and assemble motions, petitions, and supporting documents for immigration court.
• Organize case files, track deadlines, and maintain timely client communications.
• Conduct legal research on removal‑related statutes, regulations, and EOIR policies.
• Provide regular case updates to clients and guide them through the process.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, research, and client interactions.
• Independently manage the assigned attorney’s docket to ensure smooth case progression.

Required profile

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (mandatory).
• Minimum 1 year of experience handling U.S. immigration removal or deportation cases, including EOIR work.
• Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Familiarity with U.S. legal procedures and immigration court documentation.
