IFR Helicopter Pilot – EC135 Captain (Palestine, TX)

About the role

STS Technical Services is seeking experienced IFR Helicopter Pilots to serve as EC135 Captains in Palestine, Texas. You will join a life‑saving air medical team, conducting critical‑care missions under CAMTS guidelines in both day and night environments, including SPIFR and NVG operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line pilot duties in accordance with the General Operations Manual.
• Safely conduct day and night air‑medical transport missions.
• Assist with loading and unloading patients and medical equipment.
• Support Safety Management System initiatives and safety campaigns.
• Participate in community outreach programs.
• Provide professional and courteous service to internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Commercial Helicopter Rating.
• Instrument Helicopter Rating.
• First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 helicopter hours and 1,000 PIC helicopter hours.
• At least 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• Night experience: 100 unaided night hours or 50 unaided night plus 100 NVG hours.
• 75 hours of instrument time (actual and hood).
• Ability to pass pre‑placement physical, drug screening, background check, and lift up to 100 lb.
