About the role

The Georgia Department of Driver Services is seeking an Identity & Driver Credential Specialist to work at the MSA CDL Center in Dalton. In this full‑time position you will interact directly with the public, issuing learner permits, converting out‑of‑state licenses, administering driver examinations, and providing state‑issued identity cards.

Key responsibilities

• Process driver license and identity card applications in compliance with state laws.
• Conduct written and road tests for new drivers and issue results.
• Assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of service.
• Handle high‑volume transactions while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Potentially serve as a team lead for lower‑level staff and support center operations.
