About the role

The Georgia Department of Driver Services is seeking an Identity & Driver Credential Specialist I to join its Norcross office. In this full‑time position you will assist residents with licensing, identification cards, and related services while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Issue learner permits, driver licenses, and state identity cards in compliance with Georgia law.
• Process out‑of‑state license conversions and conduct driver examinations.
• Handle high‑volume customer interactions, including irate or distressed patrons.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of transactions.
• May serve as a team lead for lower‑level staff and assist with training.
