About the role

The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) is seeking an Identity & Driver Credential Specialist to join its Norcross location. In this full‑time position you will assist residents with licensing, identification cards, and related services, ensuring a smooth and courteous experience.

Key responsibilities

• Issue learner’s permits, driver’s licenses, and state ID cards in compliance with Georgia law.
• Assist customers converting out‑of‑state licenses and handling first‑time driver examinations.
• Maintain accurate records and process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Address high‑volume customer interactions, including irate customers and emergency situations.
• Potentially serve as a team lead for lower‑level staff.
