HVAC Service Manager

About the role

Join SALT Service Co., a rapidly expanding home‑services leader in Austin, TX, as an HVAC Service Manager. You will drive the delivery of high‑quality HVAC services, mentor team leads, and ensure performance aligns with the company’s vision and core values.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and guide team leads, conducting weekly performance reviews and ensuring compliance with codes and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee truck inspections, paperwork audits, inventory management, and service‑call documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments, support troubleshooting, and manage department metrics such as invoice totals, callback ratios, and labor margins.
• Lead hiring processes for team leads, technicians, and apprentices, and enforce safety protocols.
• Promote Club Membership benefits to customers and handle tool/vehicle issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; minimum four years of HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license approved by SALT’s insurance carrier.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to read blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Excellent customer service orientation and ability to lead a team toward positive outcomes.
