About the role

Our client, a leading luxury retail brand, is looking for a Human Resources Officer to join the flagship store in SoHo, New York. The role will support the store’s growing team by delivering HR strategies that align with the brand’s high‑end positioning and fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to a luxury retail setting.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment and selection for store positions, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Design and manage staff retention and talent development programs.
• Provide day‑to‑day employee relations support and advise managers on performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR within luxury retail or a comparable high‑service environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, customer‑focused store.
