Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are an established manufacturer located in New Iberia, Louisiana, seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function. The successful candidate will oversee all HR activities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while supporting our growing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with manufacturing operations.
• Conduct audits of HR practices, identify gaps, and drive process improvements.
• Provide guidance on U.S. federal and state employment law compliance.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
• Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring effective supervision.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on risk mitigation and strategic workforce planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Prior experience in HR within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
