Human Resources Generalist – Full‑Time

About the role

NeurAbilities Healthcare is seeking a full‑time Human Resources Generalist to support employees in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. You will manage daily HR operations, from HCM/HRIS administration and employee records to benefits and compliance, ensuring a smooth employee experience in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the HCM system (hiring, compensation, leaves, terminations, benefits, surveys) and maintain accurate employee data.
• Serve as the primary benefits resource, handling medical, dental, disability, life, FSA, COBRA, payroll deductions, 401(k) administration, and PTO/leave tracking.
• Provide HR service delivery by advising managers on employee relations, workers’ compensation, disputes, and compliance with employment laws.
• Act as first point of contact for employee complaints, investigations, and unemployment hearings.
• Deliver training on HCM processes to employees and managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or Associate’s degree plus 2 years HR experience).
• 4+ years HR experience, including 3+ years handling disputes/investigations and 2+ years with workers’ comp, benefits, OSHA, leave, ACA, and wage/hour compliance.
• SHRM‑CP or PHR certification.
• Experience with HRIS/HCM systems; UKG experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, judgment, problem‑solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Salary range $68,000–$73,000 per year.
