Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a strategic HR advisor to site leadership at South32’s Hermosa project. You will deliver people solutions that align with business objectives and support employee success across the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and organisational effectiveness.
• Provide expert guidance on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, organisational design and change management.
• Coach and develop leaders to foster a positive workplace culture and high employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and South32 policies.
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives and programmes that drive business results.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable strategic HR role.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities to influence and develop leaders.
• Solid knowledge of employment law and company HR policies.
• Ability to manage multiple HR initiatives in a fast‑moving, site‑based environment.
