Human Resources Business Advisor

About the role

The Human Resources Business Advisor partners with local and regional leaders to drive people‑related strategies that support a diverse, high‑performing environment. Working within a global banking context, the advisor collaborates with HR Business Partners, global product teams, and overseas business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory support on compensation, performance management, policy interpretation, hybrid work arrangements, and international mobility (visa, work permits, green cards).
• Deliver people programs and projects aligned with organizational strategy, including talent assessment, leadership development, succession planning, and talent analytics.
• Coordinate with Benefits and Leave administrators to manage FMLA, disability, personal leave, and ADA accommodation requests.
• Conduct intake meetings and manage employee relations matters, including investigations and consequence management.
• Lead ad‑hoc HR projects such as restructuring, FLSA reviews, promotion eligibility tracking, and year‑end compensation processes.

Required profile

• Strong advisory experience supporting senior business leaders on a broad range of HR topics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations and international mobility issues.
• Experience delivering talent development initiatives and using HR analytics to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills across HR functions and legal teams.
