HSE Advisor IV

About the role

The HSE Advisor IV will ensure compliance with OSHA, U.S. Navy, state and local regulations, and Oceaneering standards. Reporting to the HSSE Manager, the role supports Submarine Rescue Operations and Maintenance Contractor (SROMC) safety programs.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safety programs to prevent injuries and equipment damage, aligning with Oceaneering Life Saving Rules, CAL‑OSHA, and URC requirements.
• Manage hazardous material (HAZMAT) programs, including receipt, stowage, issue, disposal, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) maintenance.
• Oversee weight handling and material handling programs in collaboration with URC, ensuring compliance with government and corporate procedures.
• Provide HSSE reports, conduct investigations, and support load planning for transportation and system mobilization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HSSE, facility maintenance, and HAZMAT program experience.
• U.S. citizenship with current or obtainable Secret clearance and passport.
• Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills; ability to be on‑call for emergencies.
