HR Learning Generalist

About the role

The HR Learning Generalist supports the Organization Development & Learning (OD&L) function, either as an individual contributor or as a manager, depending on the business line’s complexity. Reporting to the OD&L Manager or VP, the role works across medium‑to‑high complexity lines of business that may span multiple geographies and a workforce of 2,500+ employees.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the OD&L Manager or VP in delivering learning and development initiatives for a designated line of business or across the enterprise.
• Adjust objectives, policies, and plans autonomously to meet business needs.
• Lead and manage significant learning projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Engage regularly with business leaders to understand talent development requirements.
• Oversee a team of individual contributors when operating in a managerial capacity.

Required profile

• Experience supporting OD&L activities in a medium‑to‑high complexity environment.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, interacting with senior business leaders.
• Experience managing or leading a team of learning professionals (for managerial track).
