HR Consultant – Remote (6‑Month Rolling Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to lead day‑to‑day HR operations for a fast‑growing technology consultancy. This fully remote, six‑month rolling contract offers the chance to shape people processes that support rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, off‑boarding, contracts and documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and legislation.
• Oversee HR administration, identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Provide practical HR guidance to managers and staff on a wide range of people matters.
• Maintain and optimise HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop scalable HR processes that align with business growth.

Required profile

• Located in the United States or Canada.
• Previous experience as an HR Lead, HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist in a start‑up or scale‑up environment.
• Background in IT consulting, technology services or professional services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of US and/or Canadian employment practices.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Rippling HRIS.
• Experience using Sequoia for benefits administration.
