About the role
The HR Business Partner will work closely with leaders in Chipotle’s Restaurant Support Centers to design and execute people strategies that align with the company’s strategic priorities. This role acts as a trusted advisor, helping to shape a culture that reflects Chipotle’s purpose and values.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with RSC leadership to develop and implement talent strategies, including onboarding, development, engagement, performance, and talent management.
- Provide coaching and guidance on all stages of the talent lifecycle and act as a change agent during organizational transitions.
- Drive HR initiatives such as succession planning, talent calibrations, and compensation cycles, ensuring effective rollout and continuous improvement.
- Address employee concerns promptly, interpret Chipotle policies and employment law, and conduct employee‑relations investigations.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to create solutions that meet the needs of client groups while upholding company values.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5‑7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable HR advisory role.
- Professional HR certifications (PHR or SHRM‑CP) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
