HR Business Partner

About the role

Lenovo is seeking an HR Business Partner for its North America operations, based in the Raleigh, NC area. The role will support employee engagement, culture, and HR best practices across multiple Centers of Excellence, working closely with business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a positive work culture that drives employee engagement, motivation, and well‑being.
• Develop and execute geography‑specific HR strategies and policies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure day‑to‑day HR operations run efficiently across the country.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. and Canadian labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, integration of new hires and manage termination processes for Canadian employees.
• Administer benefits, pension plans, and time‑away policies while supporting employee queries.
• Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to educate on HR policies and initiatives.

Required profile

• Residency in the Raleigh, NC area and willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days on‑site).
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in HR operations, employee engagement, and talent management.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian labor law compliance.
