HR Business Intelligence Data Analyst

About the role

Join the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as an HR Business Intelligence Data Analyst. You will work within the HR Product Strategy Center, collaborating with experts to design and deliver system‑wide workforce intelligence that supports talent acquisition, management, pay, rewards and administrative HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop system‑level workforce intelligence frameworks that integrate insights across the employee lifecycle.
• Synthesize meaningful workforce patterns, identify emerging trends and provide horizontal visibility for leadership.
• Partner with finance and other business lines to create cross‑functional reporting that combines workforce, financial and operational data.
• Translate complex data into executive‑ready narratives that align with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with the Data Product Owner to ensure intelligence informs product evolution and system priorities.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of relevant experience in data analytics or HR analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced mastery of analytical concepts, able to provide thought leadership and solve complex business problems.
• Proven ability to work independently, coach junior staff and lead project teams.

Required skills

• Workday report development.
• Tableau and/or Power BI visualization.
• Alteryx data preparation and workflow automation.
• Strong HR data analysis expertise.
