Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations in its union‑represented manufacturing facilities in Texas. The role ensures a clean, safe and compliant environment that supports efficient production and contributes to sustainable infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning activities across production floors, offices, restrooms, breakrooms and other common areas.
• Ensure all housekeeping tasks follow approved schedules, procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor cleanliness levels, promptly address any deficiencies and maintain documentation.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision of housekeeping staff in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, assigning tasks, tracking attendance and productivity.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members following union guidelines and company policies.
• Plan, optimise and supervise resource usage to meet service specifications and cost targets.
• Collaborate with management, union representatives and cross‑functional teams to align cleaning operations with manufacturing needs.

Required profile

• Experience supervising housekeeping or cleaning teams in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of collective bargaining agreements and relevant safety regulations.
• Proven ability to verify work quality throughout all service phases.
• Ability to lead a workforce, manage schedules and ensure compliance with job classifications.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with management and union representatives.
