Housekeeper – Resort Facilities Maintenance

About the role

The Housekeeper will join the Facilities Maintenance Department at Homewood Mountain Resort, ensuring that all interior and exterior club spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. This role supports daily operations across food & beverage, events, fitness, and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain pristine condition of windows and high‑touch surfaces.
• Remove trash and recycling, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment, keeping them free of damage or stains.
• Perform spot‑cleaning of carpets, walls, glass, doors, and furniture throughout the shift.
• Respond promptly to immediate cleaning requests or special projects.
• Identify and report maintenance issues such as lighting, plumbing, flooring, fixtures, and safety hazards.
• Carry out minor tasks like replacing light bulbs, tightening screws, or adjusting furniture.
• Support pressure washing, floor polishing, deep‑cleaning projects, and seasonal maintenance.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, and linen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after functions.
• Transport linens, supplies, and equipment between departments.
• Keep housekeeping closets and storage areas tidy and stocked.
• Assist with laundry duties – washing, drying, folding, and stocking.

Required profile

• Experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a high‑end residential or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting performance expectations.
• Demonstrated reliability, diligence, and a strong work ethic in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent needs.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and best practices for hygiene.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to apply them on the job.
