About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper II to join the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Working on a day shift, you will help maintain clean, safe, and orderly environments for staff and clients across state facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and waste removal to uphold facility standards.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and respond to ad‑hoc requests.
- Comply with health, safety, and infection‑control guidelines.
Required profile
- At least one year of experience in a housekeeping or related role, or equivalent experience as a Housekeeper 1 (FES040).
- Ability to work under general supervision and follow detailed instructions.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, lift supplies, and stand for extended periods.
