Household Manager

About the role

We are a growing family in Bay Village, Ohio, preparing to welcome a new baby. We need a proactive, part‑time Household Manager to keep our home organized, support daily routines, and care for our pets.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain organization systems throughout the home, including daily resets, deep‑cleaning projects, and seasonal transitions.
• Manage household inventory, run errands (grocery, hardware, returns) and transition shopping from online to in‑person as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation, ingredient prep, oven monitoring, and post‑meal cleanup.
• Provide pet care: feeding, walking, cleaning paws, entertaining dogs during calls, and caring for a parrot.
• Handle laundry, linen changes, vehicle upkeep, and light administrative tasks such as calendar coordination.
• Perform light indoor maintenance (changing bulbs, batteries, smoke detector checks) and support occasional overnight pet‑sitting.

Required profile

• Proactive, autonomous and able to work independently after initial training.
• Physically capable of tasks like climbing ladders, lifting boxes and organizing closets.
• Comfortable around infants, dogs and a parrot; fragrance‑free or natural fragrance preference.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license with a clean record, and up‑to‑date vaccinations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not mandatory.
