Hotel General Manager – Marriott Experience Required

About the role

The General Manager leads all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and strict adherence to Marriott brand standards. This senior leadership position reports to ownership and Marriott International while fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Sales.
• Coach and develop department leaders to achieve operational excellence and associate engagement.
• Maintain Marriott brand compliance through regular inspections and audits.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement corrective action plans.
• Achieve budgeted revenue, profit, RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy targets.
• Manage labor costs, operating expenses, and departmental budgets.
• Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to drive market share and revenue growth.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain qualified team members while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader, preferably within the Marriott portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver financial results and high guest satisfaction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
