Hotel Front Desk Agent

About the role

Join our hospitality team as a Front Desk Agent, providing exceptional service to guests while handling reservations, inquiries, and daily front desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide superior guest service and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Book guest reservations, both same‑day and advanced, and assign accommodations according to procedures.
• Answer PBX calls, direct guests to appropriate personnel, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Maintain accurate bank handling and perform account postings.
• Stay informed on hotel occupancy, special events, and in‑house groups affecting front desk operations.
• Manage guest relations positively and refer unresolved issues to appropriate staff.
• Keep up‑to‑date with all company services and entertainment opportunities.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; prior hotel experience preferred.
• Strong data‑entry skills with 10‑key experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Effective communication with guests and team members at all levels.

• Agilysys Stay Hotel computer system
• Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Credit‑card processing equipment
• Fax machine and copier operation
• Super Playmate card system
• Basic calculator usage
