Hotel Controller – Financial Leadership

About the role

The Controller acts as a strategic finance partner for Titan Asset Management Group’s portfolio of hotels, safeguarding financial integrity while enabling leaders to make data‑driven decisions that enhance guest experiences and drive long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned hotel properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor financial performance, operating trends and forecasts; provide insights and recommendations to hotel leadership.
• Lead monthly financial reviews, identify variances, opportunities and risks.
• Maintain balance‑sheet schedules, fixed‑asset and prepaid‑expense records, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with USALI, US GAAP, company policies and regulatory requirements, including sales/use tax and occupancy tax filings.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests.
• Partner with General Managers and department heads on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash‑flow management.
• Oversee bi‑weekly payroll processing, payroll journal entries and related reconciliations.
• Train hotel leaders on accounting policies, financial procedures and internal controls.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of USALI and US GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience with hotel‑industry financial reporting and budgeting.
• Proven ability to manage tax filings (sales/use tax, occupancy tax) and audit processes.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll administration and expense reporting.
• Demonstrated capability to partner with operational leaders and drive financial performance.
