Host / Greeter – Part‑Time

About the role

The Host / Greeter is the first point of contact for members and guests at the Troubadour Golf & Field Club dining areas. In this part‑time position you will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations and guide guests to their tables, supporting the Food & Beverage team to deliver the Discovery Land experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a smile, using names whenever possible.
• Maintain professional posture, eye contact and courteous demeanor.
• Handle walk‑ins and reservation requests in person, by phone or email.
• Confirm table availability and escort guests to their assigned seats.
• Assist the Food & Beverage staff with seating flow and any additional duties.
• Ensure club policies and service standards are consistently applied.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months experience in a fine‑dining, high‑volume restaurant, resort or private club.
• Knowledge of HACCP and local food‑safety regulations; ability to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong attention to detail, professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lb for extended periods.

Required skills
