Hospitalist Physician – Teaching Component

About the role

Join Wellstar’s Kennestone Hospital as a Hospitalist Physician in a teaching‑focused environment. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care to patients while contributing to education and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient and/or inpatient settings, including medical and surgical services.
• Document clinical encounters accurately and complete all necessary billing and administrative tasks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in Continuing Medical Education to retain licensure and board certification.

Required profile

• MD, DO, DMD, or DDS degree.
• Active or eligible Georgia medical license.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in the relevant specialty.
• Board certification or eligibility in the specialty.
