Hospitalist Physician

About the role

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Hospitals in Nevada. In this fast‑paced inpatient setting you will deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of acute medical conditions in the hospital.
• Provide direct outpatient care and specialist consultations as needed.
• Follow clinical guidelines and hospital policies, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Document patient encounters, dictate notes, and submit charges in accordance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with department managers on staffing, equipment needs, and clinical supervision.
• Participate in medical education and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with successful completion of a residency program.
• Active or eligible Nevada medical license at time of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and DEA Controlled Substance registration.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and ability to work in a high‑volume environment.
