About the role
The Hospitalist will provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients at Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation. This part‑time (0.75 FTE) position involves direct clinical responsibilities, coordination with specialty services, and ensuring smooth transitions of care.
Key responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat adult in‑patients admitted to the hospital.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and specialist consults.
- Collaborate with specialty physicians and primary care providers to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Manage patients throughout their hospital stay, including discharge planning and follow‑up coordination.
Required profile
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a three‑year Internal Medicine residency.
- Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- Demonstrated record of professional performance, high ethical standards, and reliable attendance.
Required skills
- Internal Medicine clinical expertise.
