Hospital Housekeeper - Full Time

About the Position

Join Spire Washington Hospital as a dedicated Housekeeper and play a vital role in our healthcare mission. You will be responsible for ensuring a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors, directly contributing to the high standards of care we provide.

Main Missions

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across all hospital areas, including patient rooms, offices, and public spaces.
• Follow strict cleaning schedules to ensure rooms are prepared, sanitized, and correctly set up for incoming patients.
• Collaborate closely with clinical staff to respond promptly to the evolving needs of the hospital environment.
• Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) protocols.
• Execute all other housekeeping tasks as required to support hospital operations.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a professional cleaning role, preferably within a customer-oriented or healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety (H&S) and COSHH requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Methodical approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining rigorous hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends.
