About the role
BAYADA Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to support its Ocean County hospice office in Toms River, NJ. Volunteers will assist with administrative tasks, event planning, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
Key responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry and medical supply tracking.
- Assist with hospice events such as memorial services, patient celebrations, and legacy projects.
- Make tuck‑in calls to patients and families and offer bereavement support.
- Help with clerical work, day‑to‑day office tasks, and memorial service planning.
Required profile
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
- Meet all state volunteer requirements and BAYADA’s volunteer policies.
