Home Health Aide

About the role

Central Star Home Health is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide personalized in‑home care to patients across several U.S. states. You will support patients with daily living activities while ensuring their safety and comfort in accordance with individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation, and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as making beds, changing linens, laundry, and general tidying.
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals; assist with feeding as directed.
• Document services accurately and promptly, maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) when ordered.
• Report any changes in patient condition or incidents to the RN Supervisor or therapist.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Required profile

• Current certification or registration required by state and/or federal regulations for home health services.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and respect for patient privacy.
• Reliability and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Required skills

• Competence in measuring and recording basic vital signs.
• Proficiency in basic patient care techniques and safe transfer methods.
• Ability to prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines.
