Home Health Aide – Flexible Shifts

About the role

Join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate personal care, household support, and companionship to adult clients in the Williamsport area. You will work under a written plan of care created by a registered nurse, helping clients maintain independence and safety at home.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and ensure proper nutrition.
• Support range‑of‑motion exercises and assist with ambulation using mechanical lifting devices as needed.
• Offer medication reminders and follow the care plan set by the nurse.

Required profile

• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Commitment to being present, reliable, and delivering quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for clients.
• Ability to travel to assigned client homes.

Required skills

• Basic personal care techniques (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Household support skills (light cleaning, laundry).
• Meal preparation and feeding.
• Assistance with mobility and transfers.
