Highway Saw & Seal Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Highway Saw & Seal Operator to join A-Core Concrete Specialists. The role involves cutting pavement with rider and flat saws, applying hot‑pour and silicone seals, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment on highway projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate rider and flat saws to perform precise pavement cuts.
• Apply hot‑pour seal and silicone seal to prepared surfaces.
• Maintain and clean equipment after each job.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a drug‑free workplace.
• Complete daily paperwork and manage workflow to meet changing priorities.
• Occasionally travel out of town for project assignments.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience operating rider and flat saws.
• Minimum 1 year experience applying hot‑pour and silicone seals.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug screen and DOT physical.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and perform basic data entry on a PC or tablet.
• Self‑motivated, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
