Highway Laborer – On‑the‑Job Paid Training

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Highway Laborer to join our Highway division. The position offers on‑the‑job paid training and involves supporting operators, cleaning equipment, and performing manual tasks on construction sites across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Power wash surfaces and equipment.
• Apply hot‑pour seal and silicone seal as required.
• Maintain and clean all tools and machinery.
• Support operators with preparation and clean‑up duties.
• Comply with all safety policies and maintain a drug‑free work environment.
• Complete daily paperwork and manage workflow to meet changing priorities.

Required profile

• Pass a drug screen and DOT physical.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb.
• Basic data‑entry skills on a PC or tablet.
• Organized, self‑motivated, punctual and able to follow processes.

Required skills

• Heavy Highway Saw & Seal experience (preferred).
