Highway Laborer – Full-time with Paid Training

About the role

A-Core Concrete Specialists is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals for a full‑time Highway Laborer position. The role involves supporting operators, performing power washing, seal applications, and equipment maintenance on highway projects, with travel out of town as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Power wash surfaces and equipment.
• Apply hot‑pour seal and silicone seal.
• Maintain and clean equipment used on site.
• Support operators with preparation and clean‑up tasks.
• Complete daily paperwork and manage workflow priorities.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a drug‑free environment.

Required profile

• Pass a drug screen and DOT physical.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and perform manual tasks.
• Basic data‑entry skills on a PC or tablet.
• Organized, responsible, self‑motivated and punctual.

Required skills

• Power washing.
• Hot‑pour seal application.
• Silicone seal application.
• Equipment maintenance.
• Heavy highway saw operation (preferred).
• Data entry on PC/tablet.
