Help Desk Specialist – Onsite IT Support (NYC)

About the role

As a Help Desk Specialist at MatchPoint Solutions, you will be the first point of contact for end‑users in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment. You will support both Mac and Windows platforms, ensuring that hardware and software issues are resolved quickly to keep our clients’ operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support via calls, emails, and walk‑ups for Mac and Windows devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware, including new image builds.
• Manage incidents and ticket updates using ITSM tools.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks and set up equipment for new hires, both onsite and remote.
• Troubleshoot OS configurations, reinstall drivers, software, and add‑ins.
• Handle general on‑site IT support tasks and lift equipment as needed.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of end‑user support experience.
• Strong computer configuration and repair background.
• Experience with IT ticketing/incident management systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate clearly.
• Physical ability to lift PCs, servers, and other IT equipment.
