Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer with solid experience in HVAC design for the U.S. construction market. The role is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with our team and clients from anywhere while delivering high‑quality design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret HVAC design drawings and schematics.
• Draft detailed plans for plumbing and HVAC systems according to project specifications.
• Develop 3D models of HVAC systems using industry‑standard software.
• Manage client‑provided formats and ensure timely delivery of project documents.
• Apply U.S. building codes and standards relevant to HVAC engineering.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in HVAC design.
• Advanced spoken English proficiency (mandatory).
• Ability to work remotely and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Portfolio of previous HVAC projects and a voice note for screening.

Required skills

• HVAC system design and drafting (plumbing emphasis).
• Thermal load calculation software: HAP 4.9+ or Trace 700 or DesignBuilder.
• VRF software from any manufacturer.
• Navisworks for project coordination.
• AutoCAD, Revit and BIM modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with U.S. HVAC codes and standards.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Hubstaff and Zoom.
