Healthcare Data Entry Specialist (Remote, US)

About the role

Gainwell is seeking a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to support its nationwide healthcare operations. This fully remote position involves accurately entering, reviewing, and validating claims‑related information to ensure high‑quality processing for millions of members.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify claims information, supporting documentation, and healthcare records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review claims forms and related documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive healthcare and member information.
• Meet productivity, quality, and accuracy standards while managing daily workloads.
• Utilize multiple systems and Microsoft Office applications to support claims processing and operational objectives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of experience in data entry, administrative support, claims processing, healthcare operations, or a related field.
• Strong typing and data‑entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a remote environment.
