Health Program Manager

About the role

The Health Program Manager leads IRC Utah’s comprehensive health and wellness portfolio, delivering culturally responsive, trauma‑informed services to refugees, asylees and other ORR‑eligible populations. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role oversees health access, mental health, health promotion, community health work and intensive case management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor and close all service grants and contracts.
• Oversee program budgets, track expenses and ensure financial compliance.
• Prepare accurate, timely reports for donors and internal stakeholders.
• Write grant proposals and related reports.
• Maintain records and meet all reporting requirements.
• Travel within the service area to support clients and deliver materials.
• Train and supervise volunteers, interns and the health/ICM teams.
• Lead community‑engagement strategies and strengthen partnerships that improve health‑care access.

Required profile

• Solutions‑driven change‑maker with experience in health program management.
• Strong knowledge of social determinants of health and refugee‑focused services.
• Proven ability to manage grants, budgets and donor reporting.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and community‑building skills.
