Health and Safety Advisor

About the role

Lincolnshire Housing Partnership is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join its dedicated Health & Safety team. You will work closely with customer‑facing services to create safer environments for both residents and staff across Lincolnshire.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on health, safety and wellbeing matters to all teams.
• Identify, assess and help manage workplace risks.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, recommending corrective actions.
• Support the development and delivery of mental‑health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards.
• Travel across community hubs, offices and remote sites, claiming mileage where appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving health & safety improvements in a workplace setting.
• Demonstrated ability to promote mental health and wellbeing at work.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence across all levels.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage your own diary and work flexibly.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Understanding of mental‑health promotion and stress‑management techniques.
