About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a Health Aide to join the West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus. Under general supervision, you will provide basic patient care and help patients develop daily living skills.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver basic patient care to individuals in a hospital setting.
- Assist patients and clients in developing daily living skills.
- Measure and record vital signs as needed.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least six months of related experience, with one year in a lower‑level Health Aide (HCS020) role or equivalent.
- Current licensure or certification that permits practice in Georgia.
- Ability to meet background check, drug screening, TB evaluation, and vaccination requirements.
Required skills
- Taking vital signs.
- Basic patient care.
- Supporting development of daily living skills.
