Head of Strategy and Operations

About the role

SideShift is seeking a Head of Strategy and Operations to lead the definition and execution of its strategic roadmap. Based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, this senior leader will drive operational excellence and align business goals with measurable outcomes across the creator marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Define, prioritize and implement strategic initiatives that support marketplace growth and creator‑brand success.
• Lead the business planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting and performance measurement.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities, build business cases and allocate resources effectively.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing operations team, establishing KPIs and continuous‑improvement processes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure rapid experimentation and scalable distribution.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in strategy or operations at high‑growth technology or marketplace companies.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Background in consulting or similar environments managing complex, cross‑functional projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Familiarity with the creator economy, digital marketing or content platforms is highly beneficial.
