About the role
Kivo is a modern document management and workflow platform serving emerging life‑sciences companies. As Head of Partnerships you will define and own the partner ecosystem, working with software vendors and service providers to deliver integrated solutions for clinical‑stage biotechs.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own Kivo's partner program across service providers and software vendors, from strategy to signed agreements and ongoing management.
- Lead development of integrated solutions with software partners (CTMS, EDC, RIM, QMS, safety), defining commercial structures, joint positioning, and integration scope together with the product team.
- Establish and grow referral and co‑sell relationships with CROs, regulatory and quality consultancies serving emerging and mid‑size biotechs.
- Represent Kivo at industry events, partner forums and customer conversations, strengthening external presence in clinical and regulatory operations.
- Partner with sales, marketing and product teams to translate partnerships into pipeline, revenue and customer outcomes.
- Design operating cadence, metrics and infrastructure for the partner function as the company scales.
Required profile
- 10+ years of business development, partnerships or strategic alliances experience in life‑sciences SaaS.
- Direct experience with regulatory information management, quality management systems, trial master file or related clinical‑operations software.
- Strong knowledge of the CRO landscape and how sponsors, CROs and technology vendors collaborate in clinical trials.
- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating and closing partnership agreements that deliver measurable commercial results.
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment, building programs from scratch and balancing strategy with execution.
- Excellent executive presence and written communication skills for senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
