Head of Operations

About the role

Nfinity Athletic is seeking a hands‑on Head of Operations to own and streamline the daily operating system of its fast‑growing sports, footwear, apparel, and ecommerce business in Atlanta. Reporting to the founders, you will be the central point for supply chain, fulfillment, vendor management, and finance support, with the goal of scaling the operation and eventually stepping into a General Manager role.

Key responsibilities

• Plan supply chain, purchase order timing, replenishment and maintain inventory health.
• Oversee warehouse, 3PL, fulfillment, shipping exceptions and receiving processes.
• Manage Amazon, Shopify and other marketplace ecommerce operations, ensuring inventory sync.
• Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, spend discipline and deliverable tracking.
• Configure and maintain operating systems such as Salesforce, ERP, Accounting Seed, Workato, ShipStation, Zendesk and AfterShip.
• Handle customer service escalations related to orders, shipping, refunds and replacements.
• Support finance close activities, shipment proof, invoicing and margin protection.
• Resolve daily operational issues across sales, finance, product, ecommerce, warehouse and leadership.
• Establish clear ownership for tasks, deadlines, blockers, decisions, risks and proof points.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, ecommerce or related fields.
• Proven track record in a founder‑led or fast‑moving company handling physical product operations.
• Background in apparel, footwear, sporting goods, retail, distribution or consumer products; sports or military logistics experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently without dedicated support staff and to drive teams toward execution.
