Head of Internal Audit

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead US‑focused internal audit activities across technology, payments, operational resilience and third‑party risk. The role will work closely with Risk, Compliance and senior leadership to ensure robust governance and control frameworks that support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk‑based internal audit plan for US entities, prioritising high‑risk areas.
• Execute internal audits in line with global methodology, covering technology, payments, financial crime, and third‑party risk.
• Leverage data analytics (SQL, SAS, Python, R) to assess risks, test controls and generate actionable insights.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Board.
• Maintain relationships with the CEO, CRO, CCO and operational leaders of US entities.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries regarding audit scope and results.
• Oversee remediation actions and validate management responses.

Required profile

• 7+ years of audit experience in a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Proven track record of conducting end‑to‑end risk‑based internal audits.
• Experience leading audit teams and managing audit execution.
• Strong understanding of US regulatory expectations and global guidelines.
• Excellent presentation skills for senior and board‑level audiences.
