Head of Brand & Marketing

About the role

Public Veil is a fast‑growing women’s essentials brand based in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking for a hands‑on Head of Brand & Marketing to own the brand image, content, influencer ecosystem, and growth across all channels. This is an individual contributor role that requires wearing many hats in a small, agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall brand aesthetic, creative direction, and taste.
• Own all content production for TikTok, Instagram, paid ads, email/SMS, and website/product pages.
• Create, direct, and appear in campaign and social content.
• Recruit and manage internal and external creators, influencers, editors, photographers, agencies, and freelancers.
• Lead influencer, gifting, ShopMy, LTK, affiliate, and UGC strategy and execution.
• Develop and manage paid media strategy and creative performance across all channels.
• Conceptualize unconventional marketing ideas, viral moments, partnerships, and growth tactics.
• Track performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, conversion) and scale successful initiatives.
• Own the full marketing strategy for each product launch, including content, creator strategy, paid amplification, timing, messaging, and sell‑through plan.

Required profile

• Exceptional taste and style with strong creative instincts.
• Hands‑on mentality; comfortable executing tasks, not just managing.
• Obsessed with both branding and conversion.
• Experience at a small DTC fashion, beauty, or jewelry brand.
• Proven track record with paid Meta campaigns and influencer marketing.

• TikTok Ads management.
• Email/SMS marketing platforms.
• Influencer marketing platforms (e.g., ShopMy, LTK).

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $175,000, depending on experience.
