Hardware Services Technician – Field Service

About the role

Flexible IT is seeking a motivated Hardware Services Technician to join its field service team. You will travel to client locations across Long Island, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technology problems.
• Perform hardware and software installations, imaging, and system repairs.
• Maintain and support client technology environments, ensuring uptime and performance.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients and internal teammates.
• Create basic documentation of work performed and solutions applied.

Required profile

• Experience in IT support, field technician, or a related technical role.
• High energy, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Polite, friendly demeanor with the ability to work independently.
• Capacity to produce clear, concise documentation of technical work.
