Hardware Integration Engineer - New Grad

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking bright new‑grad engineers to design and build next‑generation compute and sensor hardware for autonomous and AI‑driven vehicles. You will work across the full hardware lifecycle, from schematic design and PCB layout through bring‑up, validation, and production support, collaborating closely with software, firmware, and mechanical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware.
• Support hardware bring‑up and debug at board‑level and component‑level.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and verify end‑to‑end operation.
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers on prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp‑up.
• Maintain hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.

Required profile

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Graduating by December 2026.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital/analog electronics, and PCB layout.
