Gynecologist – Outpatient Practice

About the role

AdvantageCare Physicians is seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Gynecologist to join its growing network of outpatient clinics across the New York metropolitan area. The physician will deliver comprehensive women’s health services, ranging from preventive care to in‑office surgical procedures, while contributing to the practice’s focus on high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide preventive and therapeutic care for female patients, including routine exams and management of common gynecologic conditions.
• Perform in‑office procedures such as colposcopy, IUD placement, LEEP, hysteroscopy, and other minor surgeries.
• Review medical histories, conduct physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications, coordinate disease‑management plans, and document care accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless, high‑quality patient experiences.
• Participate in staff education, meetings, and population‑health initiatives.

Required profile

• MD or DO with completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Current, unrestricted New York State medical license (or eligibility).
• Active DEA registration and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment (or eligibility).
• BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centered approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
